My name's not ****, it's Troy. And if you're not assertive enough to claim a seat that you paid extra money to board early to get, don't get upset at me. You need to be upset at Mr. Holding a Seat. I'm just advising you that if you want an open seat, sit in it. If you don't want to, then don't but don't blame me for your shyness.
And yes, I've heard of people being tossed off flights but not for sitting in an open seat. I've even had to remove people from flights myself but it was for a bit more than what you are trying to imply.
Again, you paid extra to board. There was an open seat that you wanted but didn't take cuz some guy was acting like a schoolboy and saving it for his cheap buddy who didn't want to pay. Man up and sit down where you want or tell his buddy to give you the 10 bucks back you spent to board early.
