I agree with you in that Delta is the worst airline, and that Delta tries to squeeze out every cent of their "valued" customers whenever and wherever they can. Read my thread "Delta's refusal to check-in," I had a similar problem. They refuse to check in passengers and offer to rebook for twice the amount of the original price.
We are being monopolized and have hardly any means to step up. I feel like we are being thrown back into socialism. In former socialist systems citizens were on the mercy of their governments without the right to express concerns and protest. Nowadays we are on the mercy of gigantic corporations like airlines, and we are powerless when it comes to claim our rights.
