Default An Abomination in Customer Service

On March 10th I purchased my American Airlines tickets. On March 13th I called American to add my frequent flyer numbers at which time the reservation agent cancelled the seats I had confirmed on March 10th. Upon trying to check in for my flight the morning of my evening departure I was informed that I had no seats????????? Imagine my shock and frustration.

I immediately called American Airlines and spoke with both Ms. Rose Jordan and a "supervisor" Mr. Al Jones who were the most rude anti customer service individuals with whom I have ever had contact. While they "found" seats for my first leg they said there was nothing they could assign at that time for my return 2 days later and I had to wait until I checked in to get seats for my return.

American Airlines made the error by cancelling my seats initially and they had no help for me afterwards. I had no recourse and feel victimized by this gross negligence.

While speaking with Mr. Jones I became very frustrated and he proceeded to hang up on me - a paying customer.

What type of customer service is this American Airlines?
