Stop being a closet anti-consumerist
Along with the other major US-based airlines, face the reality that
(1) Deregulation (abolition of the Civil Aeronautics Board) has been a colossal disaster;
(2) That “air travel for the masses” never was, and never will be, doable;
(3) That the airports of many US cities have traffic in excess of capacity;
(4) That there is a direct relation between over capacity (“crowded”) airports and many weather-related flight disruptions;
(5) That some re-regulation is needed to address these issues; and
(6) That Delta and the other domestic carriers need to stop financially supporting members of Congress who favor the status-quo of third world style domestic air service.
