The best way to complain
Perhaps it's time to stop directing service complaints to Continental. I've spent hours just on hold this week, only to be told that nothing will be done. Continental doesn't care. Their employees aren't paid to care. Their planes are full, they're raising ticket prices, they're charging nickel and dime fees that amount to billions of dollars. They really don't care if you're happy, because it's very likely that you have no choice.
So don't complain to Continental. Write your Congressman. Write your Senator. Tell them what Contenintal has done to you. Tell them how much Continental charges you for these silly fees. Tell them about your customer service nightmares.
Our socialist government would like nothing better than an excuse to nationalize the airlines... so start hollering. Congress is already threatening action, and consistent complaints will give them more reason to, at the least, regulate the airlines' behavior.
Don't waste your time complaining to Continental about their service. Call your Congressman and your Senator. Then write, e-mail, twitter, and call 'em again. Do the same with the FAA. Maybe they will deliver the message.
Oh... then, in November, VOTE for someone to go to Washington who isn't as useless as the current crop we have there.
