Default Overbooked-rude-3 hour set at tarmat-ridiculed

We were going to Orlando on US Air, we got a layover in Philadelphia and when it was time to board they kept trying to get people to take this other flight, come to find out that our flight was overbooked. Then they announced that everyone with B seats could not board. I was outraged! My son and grandson had B seats, they are underage, I told them I was not boarding without the kids and they needed to make this right, I has pre paid seats. Well, they did make it right and got them seats at another location on the plane, everyone was at a different location on the plane.

Then we got to Charlotte, North Carolina and we to leave for Orlando. We had boarded the plane without incident, but, we were told the plane needed a little maintenance then. We heard noises, at 20 minute intervals, we were told just a little bit longer, for 3 hours. Then we were told we could get up and catch another flight if we wanted to. Then the stuardust came over the loud speaker, "Disney will still be there". We were not going to Disney! Then it came over the loud speaker, "The Captain is not flying this plane, because, it is unsafe! We all got off and the flight had been cancelled and the plane taken to the hanger. We got another flight by US Air 6 hours later, after the run around all through the Airport to different locations and had to retrieve our luggage and go through Security again. At one point I almost fell down the esculator and the Security people came rushing to the bottom and just stood there looking at me, I asked if they could possible help with the luggage and they laughed and said, "NO" staring at me. They said, "Take the elevator", we want to know what you were doing in the first place." Some others heard the Stuardesses talking and they said, "The pilot did not want to fly the plane because, he had too many flying hours and needed and excuse. When we were trying to come home the US Air desk lady person was very rude, she kept wanting me to use the Kiosk and it kept saying to see an attendant, I told her this 3 times before she would help me. Then when she did, she shouted at my grandson (17 year old) she needed identification from him, my grandson was upset at this and this was his first time flying. US Air need to be more adaptable to their customers.
