Default No flight and still get charged for it? Hiow to fight back

Getting charged for a flight that you cant get on and the airline won't give you a refund? Here is what you can do. Call your credit card company and contect the charge based on not receiving the service you paid for. Let the credit card issuer know that this is important to you and if they let the cgarge stand you will close your account. Think about it this way. You use your credit card /debit card and each time the credit card issuer gets interest from you and also a merchant fee for every transaction. Over years that a lot of income for them and when you look at how much they get for the few flights booked over years vs what they make off you as a consumer their choice is clear. YOU!

They will simply bill back the airline for the charge. In my cae I told my bank which issued our company card that if they let the charge stand I would move our coprate account and personel axcconts to thier competitor which has been trying to get our business for years. They called back immediatly and told there was no need to move our business and they would take care of the problem.

If you stand up to the airlines you can get their attention quickly. Also file a complaint with the BBB Better Business Bureau. They take complaints very seriously and the more complaints against the airline they more people find out about it. This leads to a loss of busines for the airline.
