Business Select fares are not priced the same as Delta first class fares..that is nonsense. I also wonder how AA and Delta manage to survive by not putting anyone in the middle seat? I assume from your post that this is what happens and that no-one gets "screwed with the middle seat for the entire flight" on AA and Delta.
