It is a shame that you had to throw away the skin care gift that you bought. You said it was skin care, so I am going to assume it was a liquid/lotion/ gel type of skin care. Just curious what airport and time of flight. 6:00 (?) Now I personally know of no airport that will still check a bag at 25 min. Maybe some will. Some of the larger airports have cut offs at 1 hour prior. I know passengers think that airline employees are just nasty people and are trying to ruin your life, but WHEN are people going to take rsponsiblility for themselves and know the rules. This whole situation could have been avoided if the gift would have been put in your checked luggage or you just would have checked the bag when you frst checked in knowing full well that you had an article that cannot make it thru security. If you were unaware of this, whose fault is this? Airline? NO! Airline agents are not babysitters. Why they told you cabin was filled at gate? Depends on flight time and your arrival time at gate area. So did you get on flight or be reebooked?
BTW, if you want people to take you seriously don't use the "I am Asian "discrimination thing. Dont even go there. Thats just pathetic.
