you shouldnt expect this, and it makes no logical sense at all and there is no excuse
you should at least get some voucher for this, and as you pointed out that more people would be connecting at JFK then orlando and it wasn't your plane that was having issues
Yes you agreed to the terms and conditions, but they also have a responsibility to you and need to hold their side in a acceptable manner, you cant expect that this is something that could happen and you didn't have a choice in the matter
