I agree with some of the things but not others

I agree with overbooking (unless its 1-5 people max depending on aircraft- due to the fact that alot of people do actually not make the flight, more than people realize but have a policy in place that states something like if you checked in then you have a seat and no overbooking if the flight is full.....this would work if anyone after the max capacity of the plane is put on standby but that rules are clear and accepted w/ a guarantee of next flight out if not flown.......quick concept no idea if it really would work but can be tweaked/modified)

The ridiculous security practices aren't as bad as people make it out to be, and they are there for our safety and that's the most important thing, just imagine if something did happen everyone would cry oh security should have stopped it...........people honestly need to stop overreacting about it, it really isn't that bad

just wondering, what airline has a fee to use the bathroom? i doubt that would be legal in any country

you can by refundable tickets, most don't because they are more expensive and ticket prices may seem high but they are actually cheaper in many cases to get to your destination if it is cross country and much less time consuming on the average, and comparing it to years ago when people say flying used to be so much cheaper......well count in inflation and ticket prices are actually much cheaper

now they need to overhaul their whole ticketing process, which includes pricing, terms and conditions and make it understandable and not have some crazy loopholes

the issue with fees is this, due to the competition for lower prices each airline tries to keep the ticket prices down and to cover other charges such as fuel, gate space, etc they charge fees, and what most people won't realize is that they used to be incorporated into the ticket price, so if you don't want fees then your ticket prices will go up x amount

The airlines need to hire capable and understanding agents who are trained properly and are understanding, but at the same time people cannot just take advantage of them and say that they are in the wrong all the time, i have flown and seen passangers go crazy because they think the FA is their butler and should do everything for them, their job is to make sure that everyone is safe and to assist in emergancies, they are not your butlers and shouldnt be treated like they aren't people too, but there are some that need to have training to be more polite and not so quick at judgment

Another important thing the airlines need to do is be more transparent and have policies that don't take advantage of situations such as only 24hours to report something with hard to find forms, and impossible to reach and/or understand people

yes there is alot to fix but there is alot to fix with many industries

and btw its not Viet Nam, its Vietnam, and the US pulled out of the War, they didn't end it
