Baggage Delayed Because Plane Heldfor 2 Passengers
On Monday, 11 June, the 06:45 am flight from SFO to NYC was needlessly delayed for 1/2 so 2 passengers who arrived late to the airport (not connecting) could board. As a result a bunch of people with short connections to Kiev went without their luggage. I was connecting to Boston and likewise went without my luggage. I missed the first day of a conference. Arrogant and incompetent Delta only offered $25 in compensation for the damage done.
I am a platinum flyer with Continental. I only flew these guys because they are a part of SkyTeam. But the service standards are attrocious. I encourage everyone to avoid. I hope to see this unfortunate company back in bankruptcy real soon.
