My suggestion would be to take pictures of the damaged stroller. Take it back to where it was purchased and ask if it can be repaired. They will likely tell you no. Have a manager give you a written note to that affect. Buy the same stroller to replace the damaged one. Submit copies of pictures, note and receipt to Spirit. If they refuse to reimburse you then file in small claims court. It typically costs $5 to $25 dollars depending on where you live and if (when) you win your case the cost of filing will be added to your judgement. Chances are they will either reimburse you or fail to show for the court case. Either way you'll be compensated for erplacing the damaged stroller.

(ps. Did you report the damage at the baggage claim office when you arrived? If not it may be difficult to prove the stroller was damaged by Spirit on your trip so all bets may be off then.)
