Default Being Punctual is Crucial

Let me start off by first saying first impressions are everything. I do not fly often, however, starting in September I will be due to my choice of schooling. I traveled with US Airways for the first time and the experience was an awful experience all around. Punctuality is a huge part of running a business. I had a round trip with US Airways with two connector flights; ironically all four flights NONE of them were on time. The trip back home was inexcusable! Our flight was scheduled to leave from MIA to PHL at 4:15 and it did not leave until a little after 5 o'clock! After running 45 minutes late you'd think that would be the bad part, but it most certainly gets worst. Due to the 45 minute delay it made us rush to our connector flight that was scheduled to board about 25 minutes after our arrival. Once we arrived at our connector flight's location we weren't informed by telephone, e-mail, or text that the flight was delayed. On the prompter it stated a flight to Chicago and nothing about our flight to Baltimore. Finally, we went to an employee that was working and asked him about the flight and that's when they changed the prompter about the scheduled 8:55 flight leaving at 10 o'clock. Moments later it was announced that the flight would be pushed back another 25 minutes. I bought insurance for my bags and delays. In which states if my flight is delayed that I would receive a certain amount of money back. I have yet to get my money back or any agreement. All and all the airline isn't punctual nor are they considerate of the timeliness of their customers. I was unhappy and frustrated my entire trip. In the future I will not do business with US Airways!
