I think you have a better than even chance of winning a small claims court case. Southwest failed to take adequate steps to assist a minor that was in their care, regardless f whether you purchased the unacvompanied minor service or not. File a complaintwith the DOT and in small claims. Southwest let you down and acted unreasonably in asking minors to handle this independently.
