Another delayed bag.
My bag didn't get on my flight from Memphis last night, although I had plenty of time to get between gates. It came in on a flight this morning, arriving 10:30 AM, but it still has not gotten to me. The delta.com/baggage site says the report is closed. how can it be closed when my bag has not been delivered? I called in, and they tracked my bag, as I am wasting an entire day waiting for it. It will apparently be delivered 'possibly' by 2:30PM.
I am on a special diet, and my food is in that bag. My medications for the day, also. I was willing to wait without being too upset until it was delivered shortly after its arrival at MKE this morning - I knew what flight it would be on - but this is ridiculous. It should have been no longer than 30 min after arrival in MKE before it got to me. Does Platinum status really mean so little? It is marked Priority, and not only does it not make the flight with me, but it is in no way prioritized once it arrives?
So I have a wasted day, I have not eaten, and I have a closed report. Yes, I have filled out the entirely too lengthy complaint form on Delta website. Again.
