Default Luggage Handling

This is the straw that broke the camel's back. Yesterday at JFK airport on my flt from New York to Tampa, after weighing the suitcases, you are told to take your bags to the conveyor belt. The attendands were chatting among themselves, and never offered to carry the bags, that is supposed to their job. Never in my life has seen this type of abuse, specially with senior citizens.
Not only it is bad for the customers, but also make the airport or JetBlue liable in case something happens to the person hauling the suitcases to the belt.
What is happening! This is becoming ridiculous.
