Lost and destroyed baggage
Hi,
Lufthansa lost 1 of my bags in August 2010 and reported it straight away at Heathrow. A few months later i got a call saying that the bag had been located but since destroyed as it contained food items.
I dont see why they had to destroy my bag but since they have they should compensate me.
I contacted the central baggage in Germany and after much to-ing and fro-ing i got told to contact Customer Feedback based in Liverpool who have a 6 week turn around. I sent them an email in July this year and waited 6 weeks but no contact - i sent them a further 2 emails in September\October and am still awaiting a reply.
Isnt there a number i can just call and talk to someone who can deal with the issue.
No one replies to my emails and its so frustrating.
What should i do?
is there some other place i can take this so it can actually be progressed?
