Default total absence of customer service

I have been enquiring about using my etihad airmiles since november. It seems the staff there in UAE are incapable of reading an email and answering simple questions. Even sending the email back 5 times and asking the same simple question over and over doesn't get a reply.

My airmiles have now apparently expired (i received conflicting messages on the expiry date via email newsletters). I am totally lost as to what to do. I called the Etihad office in my hometown, Bangkok. I may as well have been talking to a brick wall. It was impossible to speak to anyone who could deal with my enquiry and it was actually impossible to speak to anyone who had the IQ capable of even understanding the problem.

I will never use this airline again. It is atrocious. Its prices are extortionate for the level of service you get.
