Angry AA: incompetent, dishonest, unconscionable

My son and his wife were to leave on their honeymoon at 8:00 am yesterday from NY JFK to connect in San Juan P.R. for Antigua.

The flight was delayed because the cargo hatch would not close. They missed their connection, which was over-sold anyway.

They were given a $24 food voucher and a dirty "hotel" room they described as a jail cell.

They're still there even as the meter ticks on their 5-star resort in Antigua.

AA refuses to pay for the unused resort charges, claiming it's not their fault!! (They are now trying to change the reason for the delay as "weather related.")
