additional thought
An additional thought since I started this discussion...this credit card is part of a loyalty program (you cannot possess it without being an executive club member). I am an Executive Club member and for most of the time in the Executive Club I have been a Gold Member. Given that, one would think, if a decision were to be made whether or not to resolve an issue with a member, British Airways would just use a bit of common sense to rectify the situation.
Resorting to what I see as something quite arbitrary (my billing address and my executive club "location" not matching...the reason given by a BA representative) in making the decision not to award my Avios, British Airways has proven themselves to be less then loyal to someone who has been loyal to their program.
