Post Missing Refund for Cancelled Flight

Dear Etihad

I'd be happy to provide the exact reference numbers and info should this help my cause. For now I'll just state the brief issue:


I have cancelled 2 tickets telephonically beginning of November 2011 and still did not receive my refund. The person who helped me assured me that everything was in order, he cancelled it and it would take 4 - 6 weeks for the money to appear in the credit card account that I originally used to purchase this ticket.

In the meantime I have been on 2 hour long phone calls with Etihad representatives and the best I could get out of the whole process was the instruction: "please e-mail feedback@etihad.ae with your problem". In the first scenario, the person promised to call me back and I just never heard from her again.

I have sent numerous emails to feedback@etihad.ae, numerous times only to get an auto responder that someone will get back to me and then nothing happens. At this point, for real customer service, I would expect Etihad to call me - not that I still after all this time need to get back to Etihad.

The two flights that I cancelled date back to 5 Dec:
