I had to cancel a flight I had to NYC over Thanksgiving, on Delta, because my house flooded the morning I was supposed to fly out. I had to move out of my house,and take care of that mess. I called Delta to tell them. They said there would be a $150 cancellation fee. This was an emergency I had no control over and could prove it. I had flown Southwest airlines before. They don't charge anything to change your flight or for baggage. I think the cancellation charge was
way too high! Southwest, now, has flights to NYC out of my airport. I will fly Southwest that from now on when I can.
