I'm not sure it's legal to kick you off the plane for a noisy baby. The captain has the authority to do whatever he wants at the moment. They can, however, kick you off for safety reasons if your child refused to stay in his/her seat with seatbelt fastened. If they refuse to reimburse every penny, I would file a case in small claims court. They won't show up and you'll win by default.
