Seems all the news stories I have read, now give the full story.
Airlines are allowed to leave early if everyone is boarded, especially if weather reports indicate headwinds against them.
It is YOUR fault for not being able to control your child. The airline cannot assume the liability that the little one won't undo his seat belt during the take off roll, and climb to altitude when being buckled in is required.
Don't play the race card, it just makes your argument weak. Airlines fly people of all races all the time.
