The need of your family far exceeds the special assistance services which are provided by any airline or airport. Your family should hire an interpreter and travel assistant to accompany them on their next journey. Additionally, for the sake of other passengers and your own sanity, you may want to evaluate the risk of future flights until your 23-month-old becomes more comfortable with unfamiliar surroundings and the noise of an airplane.
I know you’re upset, but the airline and airport have done nothing wrong. With some time and special assistance, I hope that your family’s next trip is a happier one.
