Your airline ticket is a contract. By purchasing a ticket you made a contract with Alaska Airlines to fly you to San Diego. While airlines "contract of carriage" always state that they are not obligated to get you there at any particular time, it never states that they can fly you anywhere and simply deposit you at a different location. If they refuse to reimburse you, take them to small claims court for breach of contract.
