THEN WE ARE TOLD TO GO TO A DIFFERENT GATE TO CATCH A DIFFERENT PLANE. THE PILOT ON THE NEW FLIGHT THEN INFORMS US THAT " THE MAINTENANCE PAPERWORK REQUIRED FOR TAKEOFF HAS BEEN TAKEN AWAY BY AN EMPLOYEE WHO CANNOT BE LOCATED. AS SOON AS WE GET IT, WE SHALL TAKE OFF." HE REPEATS THIS TWICE MORE. ALTHOUGH THE UPDATES ARE APPRECIATED, DELTA SOUNDS COMPLETELY DISORGANIZED. THEN, WE ARE TOLD THAT THERE IS A LIGHT THAT IS NOT FUNCTIONING IN THE ENGINE AND NEEDS TO BE EVALUATED. IT IS LATER FOUND TO BE NOT REPAIRABLE AT THAT TIME. WE ARE THEN ALL TOLD TO GET OUR BELONGINGS AND RETURN TO THE ORIGINAL GATE AND BOARD THE ORIGINAL PLANE WITH THE MAINTENANCE ISSUES. A TRULY ABSURD, DISORGANIZED, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
