Default Eithad airways left me in tears!!!!!

Hello everyone,

Just writing to tell my worst experience with any institution in my life. Booked my ticket online on the 5th of march 2013 to fly on the 18th of march 2013 Flight no EY12. I got into the airport by 700 o clock as my flight was at 915. After waiting 45 mins in the queue i finally reached at the check in desk. Found out there is a problem with my ticket n i had to go to the ticket desk. went to the ticket desk where a gentleman called suraj did something on the computer n told me that everything is good n u should be able to check in. went to check in desk again and finds out cant check in because there is a problem in the ticket. went to ticketing desk again n they asked me to show them my credit card. i explained them tht i have lost my credit card yday while shopping around and i have ordered it with my bank. i showed them my passport, visa card, 2 debit cards, 2 other credit cards all under my name. i went online onto my phone and showed them my internet banking of that lost credit card. explained him its my card as u cant get into this account online without knowing the user id and passwords. the card no was clearly written on the statement with transaction showng tht i have paid for this ticket on the 5th of march. he asked his supervisor to authorise it as he has seen everything and he is a genuine passenger. she was so rude, went upto me tht if it was any other destination i would have authorised it but i cant authorise it because of the destination u r going to!!!!!!!! as im flying to pakistan. i started crying and explained her tht im getting married in week's time and i have to go but she didnt listen to me and closed the check in. got home disappointed! imagine if u r getting married in a weeks time and u have to come back from the airport because of their rude behaviour. any one can lost their card. its quiet normal in uk. i rang my bank and they agreed to speak to them to say tht it is his card and he bought it from his card but she refused to speak to bank. i was really stressed out and went straight to my solicitor who is already getting the paperwork ready as im definitely taking this airline into court. i dont care if i have to spend my last hard earned penny i will do tht. i have already passed my case to off com trading standard agency and doing everything legally. i have people who have witnessed the scenes and i have witness who has listened when she said tht she wont lemme fly cuz of this destination. NEVER FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE!!!!! i bought my ticket for 647 pounds n they purposely wasted my time and closed the check in. i had no choice but asked him about the next available flight and he told me tht the next available flight is on saturday the 23 of march and i had to pay 485 pounds!!!! can you believe it! its insane!!!!! i have paid nearly 1200 pounds so far and im still sitiing in uk. i asked eithad for an apology and the extra money which they have charged me otherwise the consequences would be very bad.
