I always loved the "the airline doesn't care about the military" excuse. It 99% of the time comes from a family member of the person in the military, not the person actually serving.

Now let's look at that statement. Should an airline break the rules for a military member and not a doctor? I mean, they both help save lives, so to speak. How about priests?? Expand it to nuns? Nurses? Policemen? Firemen? What about people that have to work every holiday? Give them an exemption too? Tell me where to stop.
