This is outrageous. Get a response from Delta that your cruising permit is acceptable and then sue them in small claims court for your costs. Your case will be strengthened by the fact that Delta admit they had knowledge that the cruising permit is acceptable to the Honduran immigration authorities. Delta are a nightmare and very arrogant when they mess up... you absolutely should pursue them in small claims. You will win.
