I bought two ticket on 2011 Oct 31st, I called to cancel to trip and the AA agent give me the refund credit and told me I only can use this money to buy the tickets. I asked how long I should use the credit, he told me
"this is your money, you can use anytime, no expiration".
So, I have no worry and hurry, last week, I try to buy two tickets, I was told the credit has expired, only for one year, I said "no", you people said no expiry, the AA agent told me to contact customer relation, but the customer relation department has no phone number and I am even not eligible to fill the form to send them an e-mail.
That is almost one thousand dollars credit, if they changed expiration policy to use the credit within one year, they should notify me by e-mail or mail.
I just feel like someone take away my $1000 money!
