Ok maybe the staff were harsh yes. But
A) travel documents are YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY
not British Airways.
B) British airways receive a fine if they let you travel when you dont have correct documents which is thousands of pounds for each person.
Therefore they have to take a fairly hard line on such matters.
C) British airways are not liable if you are refused entry etc.
Really you put yourself in that situation due to youre own incompetence.
The fact that you were showing work permits etc for yoursel
or saying they cant split up a family because of that shows
how much you dont know.
