i recently purchased two ticket to thailand on the 27/11/2013 to leave on the 19/1/2013, the airline i will be travelling with is etihad. i purchased the ticket through lastminute however when booking the ticket i made a mistake with one of the names.

i have called both etihad and lastminute to correct this mistake however both companies are refusing to correct this mistake saying that the ticket has to be cancelled and i will not receive a refund. however much i protest this i am not receiving any help.

i have noticed that other people on this site have had similar problems and after posting a thread they have received direct help from etihad and corrected the mistake. i dont mind having to pay a small fee to change the name however i find it completely unreasonable having to cancel the ticket and not receiving a refund.

my hope is that someone from etihad will read this and provide some help without having to cancel the ticket.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
