Unhappy Seaborne Airlines

In July 2014 we paid for two round-trip tickets from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Nevis, British West Indies via Seaborne Airlines. Our trip was to occur in December 2014.

The credit card was immediately charged.

I tried to contact Seaborne airlines before departing to ensure that the flight was still scheduled. The e-mail was returned: Addresses unknown.

Frustrated but still thinking the airline would still be flying that route we proceeded from BWI to Puerto Rico. While we're sitting in front of Seaborne Airlines, we do not see our flight listed. Not seeing anyone at the desk, I walked around until I could find a Seaborne representative & was told that our plane left early in the morning. We were furious but a Seaborne agent did book us on a small airlines, Cape Air, & we arrived in Nevis. However, we discovered that our return trip via Seaborne would eliminate our last day of being in Nevis, causing us to lose $200. Southwest wouldn't change our return flight from Puerto Rico to Baltimore w/o charging us the cost of new tickets. Seaborne stated that they would put us up in a hotel in Puerto Rico. However, they neglected to tell us that the hotel was actually in the airport & that we would have to pay for the room, costing us another $85.

Of course, no one ever offered an apology let alone repaying us for the lost days and hotel costs. WE WILL NEVER FLY SEABORNE & RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE ELSE FLY AN AIRLINE THAT DOES NOT TREAT CUSTOMERS AS PEOPLE.
