I promised I would give everyone an update. It is with pleasure that after 4 months the matter has been resolved - kinda. The points for my outbound leg have been credited into my Velocity account as requested upon my booking.

I've no idea whose Etihad guest account they were posted into. I am also very concerned that this is the second time in four such trips that this has happened to me. There a serious breakdown happening somewhere that is really unfortunate, because dramas like this sour an otherwise memorable experience (the flight).

Anyway, thank you *JS for helping me get this resolved.
