Angry Delayed / Lost Luggage / No Refund

My girlfriend and I recently returned from a vacation in Hawaii. Our flight from Maui to Dallas was delayed 4 hours (unrelated to weather) which caused us to miss our connecting flight from Dallas to Toronto. We had to add another connecting flight through Chicago which also got delayed 2 hours. We arrived at our final destination 7 hours late. To make matters worse, our luggage got lost and wasn’t returned until just passed midnight 2 days later. Due to this inconvenience and the additional costs we had to incur while at the airport, we asked for a refund. The best we were offered was 7,500 bonus miles…what a joke. Is that how much they value our time? We’ll see what the judge has to say. We will never fly American Airlines again!
