Default Air Europa UX058 - Denied boarding

I have been complaining to Air Europa for months, with no success, so I’ll write my story here.
The past 31st of July, 2016, Air Europa didn’t allow me to board the flight UX058 from Guarulhos, Sao Paulo, to Madrid. My whole trip was Santiago de Chile – Sao Paulo – Madrid – Tel Aviv, being Sao Paulo and Madrid short layovers in which I wouldn’t leave the airport.
I had a ticket Tel Aviv – Poland, to where I would continue my trip before I’d finally travel to China, my final destination. I was coming to study in China, where I am now.
They said they wouldn’t allow me to board the flight because Spain had an odd requirement for Latin-American passengers in transit: I had to have a return ticket to a Latin-American country (!), if not, they wouldn’t allow me to even transit through Madrid airport.
They didn’t allow me to board the plain that day. They asked me to buy them a return ticket Tel Aviv – Sao Paulo. They asked me to cancel that day’s flight to Madrid and book them a new one, paying a fine for doing so. Result:

- I lost 2 days.
- I payed for 2-day stay in Sao Paulo.
- I payed Air Europa a fine for cancelling my flight and booking a new one.
- I bought Air Europa a ticket Tel Aviv – Sao Paulo that they knew I was not going to use.

I asked the Spanish embassy in my country (Chile) about the requirement that the company mentioned, and they said that was not true. That for a Chilean passenger in transit through Madrid, there is no requirement at all. I asked the Chilean embassy in Spain and they confirmed the same.
But no matter how many times I’ve complained to Air Europa, they won’t reply with other than a predefined response about “I should provide all documents”, saying nothing, taking no responsibility, showing no respect or concern at all for their customers.
