Default WOW victim

WOW Airlines is very unimpressive and I certainly am not wowed by them.
On leg from CDG to KEF, WOW bumped us to a flight 12 hours later, after giving us boarding passes, confirming our seats, and after a customer service agent checked and verified that we were all set for the flight.
Sequence of events starting 24 hours before flight:
- Got boarding passes on-line for WW405
- Received WOW text asking for volunteers to receive free vouchers for overbooked flight WW405
- Did not respond to voucher offer
- Received text indicating we were rebooked on WW409, 12 hours later
- Called WOW customer service & told that we were "definitely" on the originally booked flight WW405 and that text was a "mistake". Also, verified that seat numbers on boarding passes were correct
- Received text apologizing for rebooking text and verifying that we were "definitely" on WW405
- Traveled from Paris to CDG at 10:00 a.m. and told by WOW that we had been removed from WW405 and rebooked on WW409 (departing 12 hours later). Asked for compensation and told it was too late for WOW to compensate us.
- Very shabby customer treatment. Will alert friends that WOW is to be avoided.
