On Monday 1/11/2021, I used my Credit Card to buy Five Flight Tickets from
Riyadh to Montreal for me, my wife and 3 children from Air Canada through
Expedia website and I paid 4370.5 $ for this purchase. We have valid
immigration visas to Canada and we satisfied all the required documents to
travel in terms of the vaccination rules, the COVID test rules and the departure
date was November 4th. We arrived the Riyadh airport 4 hours in advance and the officers checked our
visas and travel documents and issued us the required boarding passes for the
two flights; one from Riyadh to Frankfurt and the other from Frankfurt to
Montreal. We had a good flight from Riyadh form Riyadh to Frankfurt operated
by Lufthansa. At Frankfurt Airport, our flight from Frankfurt to Montreal
underwent Curtailment and they refused to let us on board for the flight to
Montreal and they sent us back to Riyadh. They told me it is only my visa which is active and asked me to travel to Montreal alone and leave my wife and the 3 children in Frankfurt without support
Air Canada officers dealt with us in a very bad manner that raise to
discrimination and racism, and they did not listen to our inquiries and they told
us your visas are valid but not active. We planned the trip for me and my family
to land in Montreal based on valid visas for all of us and after communication
and arrangement with the Canadian Embassy in Riyadh and we already traveled
from Riyadh to Frankfurt without a problem. They were
not co-operable at all. Moreover, they asked us to go to Lufthansa service point
to raise our complaint and told us Lufthansa was the airlines which brought you
from Riyadh to Frankfurt and we had hard times from Lufthansa officers as well
who told us that our flight tickets are from Air Canada and we should return
back to Air Canada officers. Given the fact that our flight tickets are from Air
Canada and not Lufthansa, we should have received the support from Air
Canada officers. Finally, Air Canada officers re-booked us flight on Saudia airlines and
sent us back to Riyadh. We need to claim this for refund of our flight tickets and
we need to report discrimination from Air Canada officers at Frankfurt Airport. After returning back to Riyadh, I contacted Air Canada customer support and they were not co operable and after long conversations they told me that they have my return tickets between Frankfurt and Montreal open and I can have a voucher for these tickets. I called them several times to get this voucher but I was not successful to get anything from them
I will appreciate if you can help us getting the refund of our money, even for the return flights between Frankfurt and Montreal. I am ready to provide all data and any supporting documents
