I booked a flight via Booking.com and Gotogate on Qatar airways which I had to cancel due to unforeseen
circumstances. When requesting my refund I get pushed from pillar to post. The agencies says they are waiting on the refund from Qatar and Qatar say they do not handle payments and cannot get involved. Who then has to refund me?? As far as I am concerned Qatar should be responsible to repay the agency and enforce the agency to refund me. Qatar has gone into contract with the agency which, should, make them responsible as they should know which agencies are reputable and honest. Booking.com and Gotogate, which, I now have realised, are scammers as they are quick to take your money but not quick to refund your money.
The reputation of Qatar has to be questioned as they claim to be one of the best airlines, but yet, they deal with agencies that are scammers and treat the travelers like they do not matter..
