I travelled by BA143 on July 11th 2023 from London to Delhi.
At Delhi airport I was told that one of my bag has not arrived after about an hour and half wait. The paper work took another one hour.
I got my bag after about 24 hours. I was shown that it has the lock on and an additional tag.
When I opened by bag, I see that it is half empty. My two bottles of liquor, gold jewelry, costly watch and few clothing items were missing.
I also had to miss out on all my events of July 12, 2023 for want of my bag.
I raised a complaint on BA website on July 12, 2023 late at night (IST) and file a complaint for about 300 USD.
Today I get an email that only 89 USD will be refunded because I am not supposed to keep jewelry & watch in the checked-in bag.
It was such a waste of journey to India because this incident.
I demand that they should refund my full claim and also be apprised as to what investigation they carried out to apprehend the culprit or just let it pass so that others too face the same fate.
