American Airlines needs to do better.

I am at the gate today for a flight back home from Miami and I find out my flight has been changed AGAIN. So I go to the gate agent to try and get on an earlier flight, since American Airlines changed me to a later flight.

Do you know what they told me at the gate? After American Airlines changed my flight not once… but twice, all on their own mind you, they told me they can’t change flights. They told me we had to do it on their app. Well… I tried login into their app and couldnt do it. There was also a line of like over 100 people behind me, so I felt pressured to hurry.

So, I stood there and called American Airlines. I got an agent who told me there was room on the flight leaving in an hour… but they couldn’t change my flight. I had to do it on their app.

So… they have changed my flight twice, not at my request, but when I, THE CONSUMER, request the flight to be changed they all of a sudden lose the power to do so.

I have filed a complaint with the Department of transportation, the Better Business Bureau and would complain on their site but they make that impossible to do.

So, if anyone needs me… I will be chilling at Miami International for the next 8 hours before my flight.

American Airlines sucks. Travel with someone else.
