Default Bad experience.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. I will never figure out why agents tell passengers that any flight will depart "for sure" as nothing in the business is for sure. Did you try to rebook to another flight to make the Miami departure? Were their any other non stop flights to your final destinations from the second leg of your journey? The agents may have been able to rebook if seats were available.

The flight attendant who you saw leaving the aircraft may have been "timed out" and they can be replaced if another one in the area is available. The Federal Aviation Administration requires that all crew members are only allowed to work so many hours before they are put to "rest."

It is unfortunate when aircrafts have mechanical problems and knowing how long a repair may take is not always possible. Your safety is the most important thing and sometimes that causes long delays.

I hope you get a response from the company. Good luck to you.
