Tom, I am sorry to hear about your experience. How is it the airline's fault you received a viral infection? Passengers are in a air locked tube exchanging the same air. What precautions can one take to avoid an infection? The other complaints seem valid enough. I am not sure writing the president is a good idea but I suppose it never hurts. I would avoid using your real name and contact information on this site. I hope you sent a copy of your letter to United and not to just this site.
