Thanks, PHXFlyer. That is exactly what I did.

In the end, Delta not only ****** me off, but they earned even less on the flight. Had I found a lower cost elsewhere, they would have lost my business on that flight entirely. And now you can bet that I'll be disinclined to fly Delta when there are similar alternatives. They've taken customer service out of their "pros" repertoire and shoved themselves into competing on price alone. Never a good place to put a business.

Nice job, Delta.

People don't want guarantees filled with legalistic restrictions. They want simple and reliable. Delta has proven themselves neither and will pay the price for it.
