It always amazes me how much crap people feave behind. Where I work there are is a box full of all sorts of glasses. Unless someone comes back and asks for them we usually pull out box and let them search. Unles it was previous nights flight and found . We usually keep those out for a bit. Books..tons of them. I bet we have at least 20-30 cell pones and a few blackberry's. A gameboy, games. dvd's. With phones, we usually try to call someone on the list and leave msg. that wefound phone and were it is. I have actually put a few in boxes and sent on flight to airport were they might be.
What I don't understand is why do people put thier stuff in those seat pockets? That's just plain stupid. At one time a woman came in and claimed xhe had a small velvet pouch with about $10,000 worth of diamond jewelry in it and left it in the seat pocket. Yeah!!!!
Right!!!! And if she did well .....(draw your own conclusions here.) Some people deserve what they get.
Anyway, put your phone / glasses/ ipod/ camera in your pocket or purse / briefcase...don't know where u left your glasses, and yes it sucks. But some things are just downright impossible to track down.
BTW, good luck on that whole legislation thing .LOL
