I agree, it is very hard to decifer this complaint... too little detail. For example, why you missed your connection in Dallas.
Just for information, declaring a fuel emergency does not mean you were at risk. The airlines must carry enough fuel to hold for a certain period of time and then divert to an alternative airport. Your captain diverted and declared a fuel emergency. This declaration is required in order for ATC to give the airline priority landing. Once this declaration is made, the emergency response is automatically triggered. Again it is precautionary, but it does not imply that you were in any danger.
Anyway, I hope you can clarify this complaint.. as it stands it is hard to know what to advise.
