We booked a RT flight from Belize to the US. We decided to stay longer.
After making arrangements to stay longer, we tried to reschedule our
Continental tickets to stay longer. However, we were told by a couple of
overly bureaucratic red-tape customer "care" agents that there was fine
print in some agreement that we supposedly "saw" when we booked the
flight. This was NOT reproduced in the ticket confirmation. So now we
have to book a one-way flight for a greater cost that the original round trip
ticket. Customer "care" simply quoted the rules and blamed us for not
reading the fine print. However, when we asked for a website detailing this
fine print, they said it was only available when we booked the flight. Now it
is secret fine print. After many, many flights with Continental over the years
and strong customer loyalty to them, we will now be forced to put them to
the very bottom of our choices for airlines.
