I have to show my drivers license. My advice is just to show the DL and avoid a scene. And think about it this way, the agent may not be positive about you other form of ID and erred on the side of safety when asking for another form of ID.

I'm not sure what form of ID this person was attempting to use, but it seems to me from the wording of the post that it was done more to impress (hey, look at me - I'm with the FBI, CIA, NSA, whatever) than to merely get through the security checkpoint. Unless there was some need to show whatever credential she had then a driver's license or passport would have been sufficient. She said she had a driver's license so why didn't she just show that to begin with?
Butch, I'm not a psychiatrist, but I play one on TV. Just kidding. All joking aside, you must admit the wording and vagueness of this post was odd. I have flown Alaska Airlines for years and have flown from at least a dozen different airports on Alaska. I've never encountered any staff who would even seem threatening or "crazy" in any way. Does this statement sound "normal" to you?

I mean, c'mon. *****? Terrorist? My comments were meant to be a humorous take on the ridiculous nature of this post unlike the comment in the post you reference which was clearly a personal attack. An attack, I may add, by someone who hides behind that screen name in order to do so.
Someone who posts such nonsense leaves themselves open to criticism. If you were working in a face-to-face customer service job and someone said "(you want) me to be a ***** or a terrorist just for (your) own drama" would that not raise a red flag?
I honestly doubt this person will ever post here again. Like so many others we have seen come and go with a single post I think this person was just out for the shock value and nothing more. There were no details and no clue as to what this person was actually complaining about. Lets not waste any effort on these types and if some of us care to take a moment to humorously point out that the post is without merit then allow us a little levity to do so.
